My Review: 

I loved this book. Dare I say it was even my favorite romance read of 2021?! I enjoyed that this was not your typical romance book. It dealt with some heavy topics as well, such as grief and loss, but also still had some adorable romantic scenes. 

January and Gus were some of my favorite characters from a romance novel. It reminded me a lot of Undercover Bromance where the two characters are full of sass and sarcasm and I am here for it! I am a sucker for a good enemies to lovers story and this really hit the nail on the head for me. 

Beach Read was laugh out loud funny but also made me have all the feels and was overall, just a well rounded novel. It was not overly gushy, in my opinion, and really had some wonderful character development. I would love to read more of January and Gus and really need to pick up People You Meet on Vacation by this author! Have you read either of them? I would love to hear your thoughts on them!
